Spright Evil★Twin is another variant of Spright. In conjunction to Evil★Twin's strong Level 2 plays in the form of Ki-sikil and Lil-la.
Starting off with the Spright cards, Blue and Jet are your primary starter cards as they can search all other Spright cards from the Deck.
Spright Starter adds more consistency to the engine.
Live☆Twin Ki-Sikil and Live☆Twin Lil-la can easily Special Summon each other if they are Summoned on the field when you control no other monster. Making access to Rank/Link-2 plays much easier.
Live☆Twin Sunny's Snitch is the deck's primary search Spell card, effectively making any of your Live☆Twin searchable and easier to Draw.
Gigantic Spright is the soul of Spright's Extra Deck as it extends and protects your combos.
Spright Elf helps the deck with combo extensions as well as disruptions on your opponent's turn by Special Summoning Evil★Twin Lil-la.
Evil★Twin Ki-sikil and Evil★Twin Lil-la can Summon the other Twin from the Graveyard thanks to their Quick-Effects. Ki-sikil lets you draw a card if Lil-la is on the field whet it was Summoned. Lil-la on the other hand, shares the same effect but it lets you destroy a card on the field instead.
This 1-Card Live☆Twin Combo can be bridged into multiple other variants. This Combo will be the bread and butter of the deck.
Required Cards | |
---|---|
Step | Description |
1 | Normal Summon Live☆Twin Ki-sikil then activate its effect to Special Summon Live☆Twin Lil-la from the Deck. |
2 | Overlay Live☆Twin Ki-sikil and Live☆Twin Lil-la to Xyz Summon Gigantic Spright. Activate Gigantic's Effect to Special Summon Spright Blue from the Deck and then detach Ki-sikil. |
3 | Activate Spright Blue's effect to add Spright Jet from the Deck to hand. |
4 | Special Summon Spright Jet from Hand. Activate its effect to add Spright Starter or Spright Smashers from the Deck to hand. The card you add here depends on the current game state. |
5 | Link Summon Spright Elf using Spright Blue and Gigantic Spright as materials. Activate Elf's effect to Special Summon Lil-la from the Graveyard. |
6 | Link Summon Evil★Twin Lil-la using Spright Jet and Live☆Twin Lil-la as materials Activate Evil★Twin Lil-la's effect to Special Summon Ki-skil from the Graveyard. |
7 | Link Summon Evil★Twin Ki-sikil using Evil★Twin Lil-la and Live☆Twin Ki-sikil as materials. |
8 | Set Spright Starter or Spright Smashers depending on what card you searched in Step 4. |
Your End Board will look like this:

Notes:
Activate Spright Starter to Special Summon either Spright Carrot or Spright Red from the Deck.
Activate Spright Elf's Effect to Special Summon Evil★Twin Lil-la if your opponent controls a monster.
Alternatively, you can use Evil★Twin Ki-sikil's Quick-effect to Special Summon Lil-la instead.
With Lil-la being Summoned while Ki-sikil is on the field, you can destroy 1 card on the field.
You can also Special Summon Live☆Twin Ki-Sikil Frost instead when using Live☆Twin Lil-la for the combo.
Work in Progress - Will add more additional combos soon! |

Knightmare Corruptor Iblee provides a very soft lock to the opponent. Using Gigantic Spright to Special Summon her, then using itself as a material for the Summon of Spright Elf, Iblee's effect will then trigger. Special Summoning herself to the opponent's side of the field, preventing them from Special Summoning except for Link Summon.
Spright Evil★Twin can swarm the field quickly, and with Evil★Twin Lil-la's ability to destroy cards by effect, Scythe lock is easily accessible.
To beat a deck that distorts the meta around itself, you must use the same deck. Spright loses to itself or to any variants of Spright. It has a strong resource game and also possesses strong board-breaking abilities.

“Jet Spright” has been changed from semi-limited to limited with one 1 per deck. Is there any great or optimal card to replace this with or could you just add some sort of quick play spell/trap card.
