Melffy Deck Guide: How to Play

The Melffy archetype may not have access to its stronger Xyz Monsters during the N/R Rarity Festival, but it can still stand on its own as a very effective Deck, especially when combined with the powerful Tri-Birgade engine.

The Main Deck Melffy monsters are sliperry monsters, having effects that lets them be summoned during the End Phase, or return to the hand whenever they are attacked or if the opponent summons a monster. While Melffy Mommy is not availabe due to the event, they have other options for Xyz Monsters, which include The Phantom Knights of Cursed Javelin, Herald of Pure Light and Number 45: Crumble Logos the Prophet of Demolition.

Meanwhile, the Tri-Brigade engine enables ease of access to the Link Monsters, especially Tri-Brigade Rugal the Silver Sheller and Hraesvelgr, the Desperate Doom. The addition of the Tri-Brigade monsters added firepower to what should be normally a defensive Deck and archetype.
