The Phoenix is a large and iconic creature, a fiery magical bird that dies and is reborn from the ashes. These creatures are consdiered rare and their loyalty even more so. In Hogwarts Legacy, there is only one Phoenix.

Hogwarts Legacy - Complete the Phoenix Rising Side Quest

Unlike other Beasts, there are no Phoenix Dens and only one is available in the game. The Phoenix is obtained as a reward for completing the Phoenix Rising Side Quest, which is unlocked by completing the Foal of the Dead side quest as part of Deek's questline, and the main quest Niamh Fitgerald's Trial.

Phoenix Appears in Vivarium

Hogwarts Legacy - Phoenix Appears in Vivarium
Once you complete the Phoenix Rising quest, the Phoenix will appear in a Vivarium on the second floor of your Vivarium. You'll be able to keep the Phoenix here and take care of it as you have your other beasts.
