Bait Effects

Effects

Tier 2 ・Untraceable.
Lures an enemy to your current position in an Alerted state.
Tier 3 ・Can be used during combat, forcing the enemy out of cover.
Tier 4 ・When uploaded through a camera, the enemy will be lured to the camera instead of you.
Tier 5 ・When uploaded a second time to same enemy outside of combat, they will stop their approach and turn back.

How to Get Bait (Quickhack)

Purchased From Shops

Each shop has a fixed pool of items which can show up, with some legendary items also purchasable at specific shops. If the Bait is not present when visiting a shop, simply exit, use Skip Time to go 24 hours ahead, and repeat until Bait is available.

Bait can be obtained through Crafting Spec: Bait. Crafting Specs of any rarity can be bought from any Netrunner Shop. They are also relatively cheaper, so opting to buy a high tier crafting spec is the best choice to save up on eddies for further upgrades.
