After your first playthrough, you will get a Militech Berserk MK.5 and a pair of Gorilla Arms. Reload the save file you finished the game on, and equip these at your nearest Ripperdoc. One of the first things you'll want to do after finishing the game is to complete all five endings.
If you rushed through the main game and didn't spend much time on finished side quests, you probably got The Devil ending. However, there are actually four other endings available. You'll need to backtrack to complete some specific side quests, but it will be worth it to see all the possible ways Cyberpunk 2077's story can end.
In addition, you'll be rewarded with a special Trophy for four out of the five endings.
For players focused on the story, this should be your main priority after finishing the game – you can't really say you've completed the game without it.
Aside from the legendary Cyberware you will get from completing any ending that gets you a trophy, you also stand to earn clothing and powerful weapons depending on which ending you chose. Check the table below to see which ending yields which reward.
Ending | Trophy | Rewards |
---|---|---|
The Devil Ending | The Devil | None |
The Temperance Ending | Temperance | ・Pride or Overwatch |
The Sun Ending | The Sun | ・Pride |
The Star Ending | The Star | ・Aldecaldos Rally Bolero Jacket ・Overwatch |
Worst Ending | None | None |
All Game Endings and How to Unlock
For many players, Romance is a high priority. It's also a way to get the most out of V's interactions with other characters.
Fans of the Witcher series will remember the Romance choices of that game, and Cyberpunk 2077 does not disappoint with five potential Romance options.
That said, the Romance options available to the character will depend on their gender, but these characters still have interactions that can be enjoyed for either gender. Some of the Romance options will come as a surprise to the player, so it can be more fun to try to discover these yourself without having them spoiled.
Still, our Romance guide is available with details for all characters!
Romance Guide and All Romance Options
Cyberpunk 2077's Trophy system spans all platforms, so any player can enjoy going deep to gather all the available Trophies.
Although many of the Trophies are based on completing Main Quests or Side Quests, there are a surprising number which you can miss if you aren't paying attention to the Trophy list. If you want to achieve that coveted Platinum Trophy, don't forget to work towards unlocking all the Trophies as you go.
Another thing you will want to do after finishing the game once is to raid the contents of Adam Smasher's secret vault. To do this, make sure to loot his body after defeating him. You should get an access card that will unlock a door at the back of the Ebunike cargo ship. Inside will be schematics for a legendary smart shotgun, the Ba Xing Chong.
Once you've hit the endgame, it's time to push your character to their limits.
The Best Weapons cannot be obtained through enemy drops or in-game events; rather, you'll make them by crafting stronger versions of weapons you've already obtained. Raise your Technical Ability to 20 and unlock all the crafting Perks, and you'll be able to craft Legendary Weapons which are unrivaled.
The power of the Weapons you find and craft will also depend on your player level, so once you've hit max level, craft weapons deadly enough to cause an insomnia epidemic across all the gangs of Night City.
While you were busy with the main story, did you forget about all the side quests you had piling up?
Just like the Witcher before it, Cyberpunk 2077 is packed to the brim with Side Quests. These are not algorithm-generated shootouts or fetch quests – the Side Quests in Cyberpunk 2077 are all living, breathing stories filled with detail.
From rescuing Judy, to choosing the fate of a Delamain offshoot AI gone sentient, to seeing a concert together with Kerry, the Side Quests are where Cyberpunk 2077 truly shines.
You'll have to do a lot of running around, but to truly understand the world, you'll need to finish all the Side Quests. It might seem like a pain, but trust us, you'll have fun along the way.
All Side Quest (Side Job) Guides
Aside from the Side Quests, many more minor Quests called Gigs are also waiting to be handled.
Despite the separation in category, Gigs are quite similar to Side Quests. A huge number of Gigs are available, arising from the hotbed of crime that is Night City. It's a dirty job, but with V's efforts, lives can be saved.
Based on our play experience, there are some Gigs which cannot be cleared due to game bugs, but if you want to truly understand Night City, you'll need to complete all the Gigs currently possible.
Even after you finish the Gigs, there are still other Quests to take care of.
If you look at the map, you'll see a variety of light-blue icons labeled Assaults and Crime Activity. These indicate criminal activity marked by the NCPD as Scanner Hustles, and they will reward you for taking care of them.
In Normal Difficulty, if you don't complete at least some of these Scanner Hustles, you won't be able to reach the max level, as Side Quests and Gigs alone will not be enough to hit the level cap. There's quite a large number of them, so it won't be easy, but players who are committed to completion will need to work their way through the Scanner Hustles as well.
In the Journal, a list of available Rides can be seen. Each of these cars and bikes is available for purchase.
Around 40 vehicles are available in Cyberpunk 2077, all of which can be bought. Once you've completed all the Quests, finish out your collection by purchasing all the vehicles.
Since they don't come cheap, you might want to try some money farming methods to avoid spinning your wheels.
Throughout the game, you'll be hounded by annoying police, who cause a nuisance and can kill you even at high levels.
When you've reached the pinnacle of strength, the last thing for you to do is kill the police.
With all the Side Quests, Gigs, and Scanner Hustles out of the way, there will be very few enemies left in the world. The NCPD will be the only opponent left standing in your way. After all the times they used the banner of Night City to harass innocent civilians like V who maybe accidentally picked off a bystander or two, it's time to give them what they deserve.
This time, instead of running away, stand your ground. Let them know who really runs Night City.
Sidenote: You don't actually receive any items of merit for killing the police, so this step is only for your satisfaction. Do not attempt outside of the game.
