Cyberpunk is Coming to the Switch 2

Cyberpunk on the Switch 2

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be joining the Nintendo Switch 2's roster of games on the console's release. This will feature the Phantom Liberty DLC, a massive expansion to the world of Cyberpunk and the free 2.01 update!

The Ultimate edition will be available on the Switch's launch date, which is slated to release on June 5, 2025.

Patch 2.01 is Out Now!

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty - Patch 2.01

Patch 2.01 has officially released as of October 5, 2023 at 3 AM PDT. The patch is now live and available to download for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S across all regions! Highlights include a save fix for Playstation players, performance improvements within Dogtown, and a few quest fixes for the base game.

2.0 Update REDstream on September 21, 2023

CDPR has recently tweeted out that a new REDstream will air on September 21, 2023 at 4:00PM CEST. Tune in to learn more about what the 2.0 Update will bring ahead of its release later in the day!

In addition to the Update 2.0 Patch Notes, the September 2023 Livestream also revealed more on the paid expansion's content.

The reveal shows the new district named Dogtown, new characters and missions, the Relic Skill Tree, and more!

Here's a list of what you can expect in the DLC:

  1. New District: Dogtown
  2. New Story Quests and Gigs
  3. New Characters: Solomon Reed, Somi, Kurt Hansen, Rosalind Myers
  4. New Vehicles
  5. Vehicle Armaments
  6. Endless Dynamic Events & Missions
  7. New Relic Skill Tree System
  8. Increased Level Cap to Level 60.
  9. 100+ New Items: Weapons, Cyberwares, and Fashion

Major Gameplay Changes on Update 2.0

Cyberpunk - Update 2.0

The Update 2.0 rolling out on September 21st will implement major changes to gameplay especially on the Perk Skill Trees and Cyberwares. Players will also be able to engage in combat while inside a vehicle using mounted weaponries and quickhacks!

Below are all the changes to be added in the Update 2.0:

  1. Vehicle Combat
  2. Perk Skill Trees and Cyberware Revamps
  3. Combat & Police AI Overhauls
  4. Loot, Crafting, and Item Changes
