Expansion Starts After the Transmission Main Job

Phantom Liberty starts after killing Maman Brigitte and the Voodoo Boys in the Transmission main job. After finishing this quest, a new character named Songbird will contact you and it's up to you to take on the new expansion.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty - Dogtown Preview
Phantom Liberty also introduces the new Dogtown District located in Pacifica. This area will be the setting of the Phantom Liberty story!

New Relic Skill Tree & Abilities

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty - New Relic and Ability Skill Tree

In this expansion, you can now access the Relic Skill Tree, which can affect the Cyberware you have equipped. This will further power-up V!

Vehicle Combat and Vehicle Gigs

Vehicle combat is introduced in Phantom Liberty. This gameplay mechanic allows V to use mounted guns on their vehicle to shoot at enemies. It is also possible to quickhack while driving, further expanding this mechanic.

There will also be new vehicle gigs in this expansion. Muamar 'El Capitan' Reyes will hit you up for these gigs, which will reward you with vehicle upgrades. These are only available on the Phantom Liberty DLC.

Revamped Police System

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty - Police System Overhaul
The police system is getting improved, making the arms of the law much more challenging for V! They will be getting new tactics to get V down, like running them off the road, surrounding them much more often, so keep on your toes!

Increased Level Cap to Level 60

Cyberpunk 2077 - Reach Level 50

The level cap is increased to Level 60 in the Phantom Liberty. New gigs will be up soon within the DLC, so make sure to complete them to make V stronger!
