How to Get the Ember Headdress


Coordinates:
1579, 2756, 0382
Location YunoboCo HQ South Cave north of Goron City
How to Get Chest inside YunoboCo HQ South Cave

Armor Effect Hot Weather Attack

The Ember Headdress can be found in a chest inside the YunoboCo HQ South Cave in Eldin. To get there from Goron City, head north to the coordinates 1715, 2696, 0399. The cave will be hot, so prepare armor or food with Flame Guard such as the Flamebreaker Set to protect yourself from the heat.

Inside the cave are a couple of Horriblins, and a breakable wall of rocks. Destroy the wall and cross the pool of lava using Zonai Devices. Open the chest to get the Ember Headdress.

Location Goronbi River Cave southwest of Goron Hot Springs

Armor Effect Hot Weather Attack

To get the Ember Shirt, start from Goron City and go southwest to the Goronbi River Cave at 1428, 2098, 0286. This is the cave with a group of monsters are camped outside, and a Hylian named Gozzbear is looking for Fireproof Lizards nearby.

Inside the cave is a lava river with platforms floating along it. Use Ultrahand or Recall to get to the other side of the river. Do the same to get to the side where a Fire Like is located. On the wall to the right at the end is a hole containing the chest with the Ember Shirt.

Armor Effect Hot Weather Attack

The Ember Trousers are in a chest in Cephla Lake Cave in Eldin Canyon, found north of Foothill Stable at the coordinates 2578, 1429, 0134.

Entering the cave automatically starts the Misko's Cave of Chests side quest. Upon starting the quest, continually feed the dog some meat until it leads you to the treasure that contains the Ember Trousers.

The total cost of materials to fully upgrade the Ember Set to the highest rank are 9 Fire Fruit, 15 Summerwing Butterflies, 15 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horn, 45 Large Zonai Charges, 15 Fire Like Stones, 15 Warm Darners, 30 Sizzlefin Trouts, 15 Gleeok Flame Horns, and 2280 Rupees. You can upgrade these armor pieces by speaking to any Great Fairy.

The fire/ice/thunder burst of the Ember/Frostbite/Charge Armors is part of the weather attack. It is not part of the set bonus (that is, you do not need to upgrade to use it, and you can mix this with weather protective armor).
