Pearl Abyss quietly added the Denuvo DRM to Crimson Desert on March 12, 2026. The developer also confirmed the official pre-load and release time for the game and detailed the enhancements present across platforms.

Crimson Desert developers Abyss Pearl made an appearance at the New Game+ Showcase at the start of 2026. With the release date nearing, the team revealed more details on the expansive medieval world and claimed that the map will be larger than Skyrim or RDR2.
