The next edition of Tryout Duels in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel has been announced for October 6, 2025. In this version, the only cards allowed in a Deck list are those that can be pulled from the Legacy Pack! Check out the rules of the mini-event, as well as details for the event reward here!

Only Cards from Legacy Packs are Allowed
The special rule for this version of Tryout Duels is that cards that can only be pulled in the Legacy Pack card pool are the only cards allowed in a Deck List for this format. These come from the Legacy Pack tickets you often earn in Ranked Duels or competing in the game's events.
This means a majority of the cards in Master Duel cannot be used in the Deck, rendering most of the known archetypes in the game complet

Free Card Pack from Most Recent Release
Much like previous versions of Tryout Events, the main prize given out during this event is a free Card Pack featuring the most recently released Pack during their run.
For this event, the featured Card Pack is the Birth of a Challenger Selection Pack, which came out on the same day as the first day of this event!
