Maliss was already at full power since it arrived into Master Duel just before the World Championships in August 2025. It is general consensus that alongside Ryzeal, Maliss is the best Deck in the game in the current format. Yet somehow, they got even stronger with the addition of @Ignister monsters being generic Cyberse support.
Thus, we would like to highlight two different Deck Recipes; one that was seen before the release of the Regeneration of Stars Selection Pack, and one that features the new Cyberse monsters that can extend the Deck's combos, even without Maliss monsters on hand.

Much like Maliss, Ryzeal shares its spot as the standout Deck in the current format for how easy it is to get their key cards on the field. Since their release from the Detonate to the Top Speed Selection Pack, players have already found strategies from other archetypes to help supplement Ryzeal's preference for Rank 4 Xyz Monsters.
Playing Pure Ryzeal is still an option, but perhaps consider running more Deck Engines like Sharks or the new Heraldry cards that came out in the Regeneration of Stars Selection Pack just recently.

Expect Regenesis Decks to make appearances here and there in the Duelist Cup for being an easy to access Deck Engine, provided you have some monsters with either 2500 original ATK or 2500 original DEF.
Each of the monsters are relatively easy to summon, their Trap Card is both a Book of Moon and a Foolish Burial in one card, and the main deck monsters can interrupt combos to then retrieve themselves from the GY.

Memento is one of the archetypes that was used by the winning team of Worlds 2025, and since the tournament the Deck remains untouched at all.
Depending on them starting first or having interruptions at the ready, this is still a very strong Deck as a contender among the competition.

Atlantean Mermail is another Deck that has been part of many contenders' Deck lists at the 2025 Master Duel World Championship, and is still untouched since the tournament. They remain untouched for this Duelist Cup, and is foreseen to remain viable for a while longer.
Their ability to debilitate the opponent with hand rips even before the start of their turn is extremely strong, alongside their combos ending on some strong monsters.

The Gem-Knights managed to get their legacy support over from the TCG and have made their way to Master Duel, giving the Fusion-centric archetype a new lifeline.
Along with Brilliant Fusion now being fully unlimited as of the most recent Banlist update, it can also make use of some support with the Shaddoll archetype to get other powerful Fusion Monsters on board.

Nekroz once revolutionized Yu-Gi-Oh's Ritual mechanic and was once up on a time the strongest Deck in the game. As time went on, other archetypes have overshadowed them in strength and consistency.
However, they have gained some extensions and much-needed combo extenders with some new legacy support that came to Master Duel from the TCG in the Regeneration of Stars Selection Pack, and is now a threat for the more unprepared players trying to climb up in the Duelist Cup.
