The next edition of Tryout Duels in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has been announced for August 1 2025, and in this edition the entire Forbidden and Limited Banlist will not be followed! Check out the details of the event here, including possible rewards and dates for the event!

Tryout Duels Event Information
Foir this run of the Tryout Duels, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Banlist will not be used in Duels. Every single card is now legal, and can be played up to 3 copies in a Deck!
However, the rules in a Duel remain the same for this event.

Tryout Duel: Unlimited Details
No Banlist Active
In this event, the entire Forbidden and Limited Card List will not be in effect during Duels. Every single card, regardless if it is currently Forbidden, Limited or Semi-Limited, can now be run at 3 copies each.

All Forbidden Cards now Craftable
Before this event, there are some Forbidden Cards that cannot be crafted, even if the player has the required materials for it.
During this event, it would seem that this restriction will be lifted, and will continue to be after the event!
The Rules Are The Same
Even with no restrictions now in terms of Deck Building, the rules of the Duel during the Tryout Duels event simply remain the same, and the win conditions are unchanged.
Make use of the three days of no restrictions during the event to use your creativity and play whatever cards you want!
Tryout Duel Event Reward
Much like previous versions of Tryout Events, the main prize given out during this event is a free Card Pack featuring the most recently released Pack during their run.
For this Unlimited Format version, players will receive a free Card Pack from the Radiant Inferno Secret Pack upon winning a total of 3 Duels.
