Versus Event - Dark vs. Light Rewards, Rules, and Duration

Duelists can side between either Light or Darkness as Master Duel launches the very-first Versus event, pitting two factions of players against one another! Read on to learn about the event's details, rewards, and the start & end date for the event!

Versus Event Rules

Players can join one of two factions: Light or Dark. This determines the kind of Deck players can build or borrow using a Loaner Deck.

For example, if you join the Light faction, you can only use LIGHT monsters. Vice versa, joining the Dark faction restricts you to only use DARK monsters.

This also means there are two separate banlists, depending on which faction you join. Make sure to visit the Banlist pages in the game before constructing your own Deck!

There are a grand total of six Loaner Decks players can borrow for the event, with three of them available for each faction.

Versus Event Reward Claiming

The Versus Event will start from August 17 until August 29, 2023. Furthermore, you can claim your rewards until August 31, 2023.

Note: You can only claim your reward during the period mentioned above. So keep an eye on the date and claim your rewards!
