Some of the more powerful cards like Masked HERO Dark Law and Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer are banned from the Legend Anthology event, but that wil not stop a HERO Deck from summoning multiple strong Fusion Monsters.
Their ability to bring out Fusion Monsters at any given situation comes from the multiple HERO subarchetypes' ability to synergize with one another. The best part is that players can customize the Deck, depending on what playstyle they want to emphasize.

This Deck focuses solely on the synergy between the Cyber Dragons and the Cyberdark archetypes, using the support its received over the years to its advantage.
The Fusion Monsters that can be summoned by the Cyber Dragson are extremely powerful in battle, while the Cyberdark monsters provide support and firepower. If the player manages to bring out the strongest ace monster, Cyberdark End Dragon, the Deck may have already won the game at that point.

Ancient Gear monsters are known for being able to not care about Trap Cards, or even Spell Cards whenever they get to attack, making them extremly strong in battling monsters.
There is some small support from the Chimeratech and Cyber Dragon archetypes, but players will mostly prefer to Fusion Summon any one of the boss Ancient Gear Fusion Monsters.

Harpies can easily swarm the field with Level 4 monsters, specializing in a very potent Rank 4 Xyz turbo playstyle.
It has most of its cards untouched compared to the previous Legend Anthologies event, with the exception of Harpie's Feather Storm being Forbidden in the event format.

Infernity Decks are always at their strongest if the player does not have any cards in their hand. Most of the Main Deck cards have no restrictions in their effects, meaning it can be used repeatedly in a single turn.
This version of a Deck takes advantage of the Extra Deck, specifically the Synchro Monsters with their powerful effects. Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier can wreck a player's field, hand and GY at the same time, while Borreload Savage DragonandBaronne de Fleur can negate effects.

Somehow, the Dark Magician archetype and its various support cards were mostly unaffected, having some key cards be Limited or Semi-Limited, but not outright Forbidden.
This version of the Dark Magician Deck plays more of a Control Deck, removing cards off the field whenever it gets a chance to use effects or Special Summon certain monsters.

Somehow, a lot of the staple cards for a Pendulum Magician Deck managed to get through the Legend Anthology: Academy Banlist untouched. Players who already use this Deck in Ranked will have an easy time adjusting their Decks.
Their options in the Extra Deck become limitless due to its ability to Special Summon monsterts one after another. Feel free to experiment and see what boss monsters can go along with the Deck.

A simple Deck that needs no Extra Deck, it uses the stalling of Timelord monsters, and various cards that deal Effect Damage, to chip away at the opponent's Life Points.
Luck does come into play with this Deck, however, as it needs both the Timelord monsters to remain on the field, and the damage-dealing cards to activate without any problems.
