The Engineer skill increases your armor and cyberware effectiveness in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Learn more about this skill, its progression and how to level up Engineer in this guide!
List of Contents
To level up your Engineer skill, simply craft weapons, clothing, ammo, quickhacks, and upgrade Iconic weapons. Take note that crafting quickhacks will simultaneously level up your Netrunner skill.
You'll only be limited by how many crafting components you have in your inventory, which may be scarce if you're crafting or upgrading rarer items, but you can constantly get some points to level up this skill if you keep crafting ammo for all your guns.
Killing enemies with Tech Weapons and throwing explosives like grenades also count towards leveling up your Engineer skill.
Both of these rely on perks found under the Technical Ability tree, mainly with Bolt and Pyromania perks. If you already have high points in your Tech attribute, you can temporarily get these perks to have an easier time leveling up your Engineer skill.
