Stuck on whether the Double Jump or Super Jump Cyberware is better in Cyberpunk 2077? This guide explains the pros and cons of each, and whether you should choose the Fortified Ankles or Reinforced Tendons for your Legs Cyberware.
List of Contents
| Double Jump | Super Jump | |
|---|---|---|
| Pros | ・Can change direction mid-jump ・Suited for use in battle ・Allows for improved horizontal jumping |
・Can jump higher than the Double Jump |
| Cons | ・Cannot switch to the opposite direction in the air | ・Takes time to charge |
The Double Jump and Super Jump are very different animals, so be sure you understand the advantages and disadvantages of each before you make the expensive 45,000 Eddy purchase.
Although both the Double Jump and Super Jump provide their own advantages, the Double Jump is more suitable for the challenges presented in Cyberpunk 2077.
Although this increased jump height of the Super Jump can be convenient, the Double Jump's usefulness in battle makes it helpful throughout a variety of Quests in the game.
Buy the Double Jump first, and when you need it, go back and buy the Super Jump later so you can switch it in when it's really necessary.

The Double Jump has the advantage of quick response to situations. It allows the player to change directions in the air to move out of the way of oncoming bullets, or quickly close in on an enemy with its improved horizontal jumping distance.
As demonstrated in the video above, the Super Jump does in fact reach a higher vertical distance than the Double Jump.
In addition, despite the need to “charge” the jump, this doesn't mean that the player must stand still – they can even run while charging the jump, and it only takes a split-second to prepare.
That said, the lack of quick response necessitated by the charging means it will be harder to use in battle, though it still provides plenty of opportunity to rain down death from above.

Can "Hidden Dragon" from the cool tree be used with the jump height of double or super jump? I mean, can I jump above an enemy and then use "Hidden Dragon" while in the air?

No you can’t, You could before update 1.5 also if your undecided go with the super jump since the charge time is less than a millisecond. I use super jump because it gives you more height than the double jump.
