Gig: Prototype In The Scraper Walkthrough

Quest Objectives

  1. Go to The Scraper
  2. Reach The Elevator
  3. Free Hasan
  4. Acquire The Prototype Schematics
  5. Lower The Drawbridge
  6. Surrender or Save Hasan

1. Go to The Scraper

The Scraper Construction Site is a location found in Dogtown, in the Longshore Stacks area. Head towards the gig marker to receive a call from Mr. Hands and begin the gig.

Beware the Scavs

Note that this is a Hostile Area, so enemies will attack you on sight. Come prepared with enough heals, and ammo for a firefight.

2. Reach The Elevator

Fight your way through the hostiles in the area to eventually reach an elevator that will take you to the next area. Take the elevator down to find both your objective, as well as more enemies.

3. Free Hasan

Once you've cleared out the remaining scavs, following your objective marker will lead you to Hasan, the developer of the prototype you were sent here to obtain.

The code to unlock his cell is 2753, which can be acquired by using one of the computers upstairs from where Hasan is located.

4. Acquire Prototype Schematics

Follow Hasan through the scav den as he leads you towards the scav workshop where the Prototype Schematics are stored.

5. Lower The Drawbridge

The workshop room has an oppening that leads to a catwalk with a broken section. Do not hop over the broken section and instead interact with the broken electrical box across from it to lower the drawbridge.

6. Surrender or Save Hasan

Once you've crossed the drawbridge, you can begin another dialogue with Hasan. Here, he will explain how he fled with the implant and it falls to you to decide his fate.

You could surrender him back to his employers, or ask Mr. Hands to help him go into hiding.

Gig: Prototype In The Scraper Choice Guide

Should You Save Hasan?

Choice Outcome
Ok sending the coordinates Hasan is presumably killed.
Grab the implant but let Hasan go. Unlocks a new Side Job.

During the events of Prototype In The Scraper, you will learn that Hasan was always planning on fleeing from his employers with the prototype he developed. You are then left to decide his fate by either surrendering him to his employers, or delivering just the implant.

We recommend selecting the latter choice. By helping Hasan flee instead of surrendering him back to his employers, players will subsequentially unlock the Side Job Go Your Own Way, which awards the player with the Iconic Pistol Ambition.
