The D5 Copperhead is a great starting out assault rifle that will continue to be useful throughout the entire game with upgrades. It has a good DPS and mod slots to attach scopes and muzzles.

Best Endgame Assault Rifle

Name Reason
Psalm 11:6 ・High DPS
・Deals additional thermal damage
・High chance to apply Burn status

To use the best version of this gun, the Edgerunner Artisan perk will be required at a Technical Ability of 18. However, this weapon is worth the investment. Once you have crafted the Legendary version of this weapon, it will be rain down fire as its name reference suggests.

The high chance to apply the Burn status will be particularly punishing to your foes. Combined with the extra thermal damage, this is a must have assault rifle for the later part of the game.

    • In the crafting screen, would love to see a comparison between what I'm currently equipped with vs what I've selected to craft. In the Inventory screen, I have no idea where any extra weight is without going into each category (weapons, clothes, etc). Please add some sort of weight indicator next to each category so I know exactly where I seem to be overloaded. In the Map, please mark completed items (assault in progress, access points), grey out the icons or something similar?

    • If I fail or cancel out of an access point, the mini-game will not load up, you'll just get the jack in/Jack out animations but the mini-game will no longer appear.
