The Stinger is obtained by clearing the I’ll Fly Away quest. You’ll get this weapon by talking to Mitch at the end of the quest.

Note: This is a missable quest and weapon. You must complete I’ll Fly Away before triggering SJ-50. After this point, the quest and the Stinger will no longer be available.

Get the Legendary Version via Crafting

The Epic and Legendary versions of the Stinger will be unlocked for crafting after obtaining the base version from the I’ll Fly Away quest. Crafting will require the Grease Monkey Perk and the Edgerunner Artisan Perk as these allow you to craft Epic and Legendary weapons, respectively.
