Talk to Cooke

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK Rock Roast or Dust How to Unlock

Cooke is running low on rock roasts again and is a bit worried for his bistro. Talking to him will start the quest.

You must have completed the Meat for Meat side quest in order for this quest to be available.

Eldin Canyon - Bedrock Bistro

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK

This quest is found in Eldin Canyon in the Eldin Region. You can find Eldin Canyon north of Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower.

The exact coordinates for this quest on the map are 1757, 1548, 0279.

TotK - Talk to Cooke

Cooke mentions that he needs rock roasts, as his supplies are low. This whole quest is similar to how you do the Meat for Meat side quest.

Go to West Restaurant Cave

West Restaurant Cave Location

Go to the West Restaurant Cave at coordinates (1641, 1730, 0278).

Make Yourself Fireproof

TotK - Make Yourself Fireproof

Before heading inside the cave, make yourself fireproof by creating an elixir or wearing fireproof armor.

How to Get the Flamebreaker Set

Cross the Lava Pool

TotK - Cross the Other Side

There are two ways to cross the lava pool. First is to throw Splash Fruits in the lava to create a platform, or second, climb the cliff to your right and glide across.

For the return trip, there will be hydrants on the other side for you to use.

Get a Rock Roast

TotK - Get a Rock Roast

If you have a platform in the lava pool, pick up the rock roast from the other side and exit the cave.

Head Back to Bedrock Bistro

TotK - Go Back to Bedrock Bistro

There is a minecart just outside the cave for an easier time transporting back. Head back to the Bedrock Bistro with the rock roast.

Claim Your Reward

TotK - Rock Roast or Dust Reward

Chef Cooke will exchange your rock roast for his Seared Gourmet Steak. He mentions that you can keep on giving him rock roasts, and he'll give you something in exchange. Finish his dialogue to complete the side quest.
