Mezer and Cooke are arguing at Bedrock Bistro and says that he needs a rock roast. Talking to Mezer will trigger the quest to start.

Mezer and Cooke are arguing and mentions that Cooke needs a Rock Roast. Mezer says that it's worth trying the cave past the tracks.

Head to West Restaurant Cave

West Restaurant Cave Location

The cave in question is the West Restaurant Cave with coordinates (1641, 1730, 0278). The cave is right next to a small hot spring where Fico is bathing himself in.

The East Restaurant Cave is Another Option

You may also visit the East Restaurant Cave to retrieve the Rock Roast or Marbled Rock Roast, though the West cave is slightly closer. Both caves contain similar challenges, as well as a Bubbulfrog.

Make Yourself Firerpoof

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TotK - Make Yourself Fireproof

Before heading inside the cave, make yourself fireproof by creating an elixir or wearing fireproof armor.

Go to the Other Side of the Lava Pool

All those rock roasts are on the other side of the lava pool. You can glide to the other side by making your way to your right and climbing up a cliff.

Get a Hydrant

Once you've landed on the other side, there will be some stairs leading to a group of Hydrants.

Make a Bridge

Get a Hydrant and activate it. Pour the water towards the lava to make some stone slabs. Once you have enough, use Ultrahand to make a bridge out of the stone slabs.

Carry the Rock Roast Across the Bridge

After making a bridge, carry one of the rock roasts to the other side. You'll only need to carry one Rock Roast, and there's no additional reward for bringing more than one.

Deliver the Rock Roast Back

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TotK - Deliver the Rock Roast Back

Go back to the Bedrock Bistro with the rock roast. This will resolve Mezer and Cooke's issue.

You can use a minecart and a zonai fan outside the cave to quickly head back to the bistro.

Trade with Mezer

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TotK - Meat for Meat Reward

Mezer will want to trade his Large Zonai Charge for your rock roast. This will make both sides happy and ends the quest.
