Fuse a Splash Fruit or a Chuchu Jelly, or any water or ice element material to your arrows. This will douse the Igneo Talus, effectively removing the hot spots from its body.
Once the Igneo Talus has been doused, it will fall down, stunned. Immediately climb on top of it and melee the ore weak spot growing out of the top of its body.
If you're a short distance away from the Igneo Talus, it will throw its arm at you, which explodes when it lands. You can sprint away from this, or use Recall to send the arm right back at the Igneo Talus.

If you've doused all hot spots, simply run around a bit and wait for it to regenerate its fire. Otherwise, you can use Ascend to get on top of Igneo Talus while it still hasn't regenerated its fire.
Igneo Talus This enormous monster is naturally camouflaged as molten rock. Neither sword nor arrow can pierce its fiery form. Merely touching its magma-hot body can burn you pretty badly, but you may be able to scale it if you can use something to chill its flames. |
