How to Beat the Frost Talus

Hit Frost Talus With Fire Attacks

Fuse a Fire Fruit or any fire element material to your arrows. This will melt the ice off the Frost Talus, allowing you to climb on top of its body.

Climb on Frost Talus and Hit Its Weak Spot

Once the Frost Talus' ice has been melted, it will fall down, stunned. Immediately climb on top of it and melee the ore weak spot growing out of the top of its body.

Avoid Its Arm Throw

If you're a short distance away from the Frost Talus, it will throw its arm at you, which deals large AoE damage. You can sprint away from this, or use Recall to send the arm right back at it.

Wait For Frost Talus to Regenerate Ice

If you've already melted all of its ice, simply run around a bit and wait for it to regenerate the ice on its body. Otherwise, you can use Ascend to get on top of Frost Talus while it still hasn't regenerated its ice.

Frost Talus Basic Info

Frost Talus

This enormous monster is naturally camouflaged as a frozen rock formation. Neither sword nor arrow can pierce its frigid form.
