Head to the Las Palapas motel at Wollesen St. in Arroyo, Santo Domingo.

Desperate Measures is a new Gig from El Capitan added in Cyberpunk 2077's Edgerunners Update, along with the game being updated to version 1.6

Although this update has several tie-ins to the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series, this specific Gig has no connections to the show.

Gig: Desperate Measures Quest Objectives

Cyberpunk - Las Palapas Motel
Objective Icon.png Meet with Pedro in his motel room.

Cyberpunk - get the shard from Pedro
Objective Icon.png Talk to Pedro. → Take the shard.

Cyberpunk - wait at Kenmore Diner at 5PM
Objective Icon.png Be at the Kenmore Diner at 5PM. → Grab a seat in the diner and wait for Pedro's call.
You don't need to use the Skip Time feature. Just enter the diner anytime and wait at the seat marked as objective.

Cyberpunk - Zetatech vehicle
Objective Icon.png Take the passenger seat.
Get out the diner and get inside the Zetatech vehicle on the intersection.

Objective Icon.png Talk to Pedro. → Slot in Pedro's shard. → Wait until the onboard computer is hacked.

Cyberpunk - lose the Zetatech pursuers
Objective Icon.png Lose the Zetatech pursuers. → Wait for instructions.
 Smart weapons work best here as the vehicle you're on and your targets are moving.

Cyberpunk - leave the car at Tirempire
Objective Icon.png Leave the car at Tirempire. → Exit the car. → Talk to Pedro
Pedro will give you the wheel after neutralizing the pursuers. Continue driving the vehicle to the marked location.

Tips and Strategies

Bring Smart Weapons

Zetatech units will follow you and open fire soon after Pedro hacks the vehicle. Before getting in, be sure that you have fast-firing weapons with you, prefereably Smart weapons, so you can hit the pursuers easier while both of you are moving.
