amiibo

The amiibo function in the ability wheel enables you to scan an amiibo figurine to obtain its rewards from a treasure chest.

Map
| How to Unlock | Talk to the Steward Construct during Find Princess Zelda main quest. |

The Map shows your current location and the map of Hyrule's surface, sky, and depths. Each part of the map must be filled out by unlocking Skyview Towers in the surface and Lightroots in the depths.

Camera

The Camera allows you to take pictures and self-portraits to fill your Hyrule Compendium. You can find the saved pictures in the Albums tab when you press the Minus (-) Button.

Sensor
| How to Unlock | Complete the Hateno Village Research Lab side adventure. |

The Sensor is an upgrade that lets you track down the nearby shrines in an area. It also shows you whether the shrine is aboveground or underground.

| How to Unlock | Complete Presenting: Sensor + side adventure. |

Sensor + is the upgraded version of the Sensor. This allows you to detect a selected material from the Hyrule Compendium, making it useful for farming certain materials.

Hero's Path Mode
| How to Unlock | Complete Presenting: Hero's Path Mode side adventure. |

Hero's Path Mode enables you to see your footsteps starting from the beginning of the game. Up to 256 hours of your path can be recorded in this mode and your oldest footsteps will be replaced once it exceeds those hours.

How to Unlock Purah Pad
Talk to the Steward Construct at the Great Sky Island
After diving down from the ledge, find the inactive Steward Construct and activate it to unlock the Purah Pad. You will also receive the next main quest, Find Princess Zelda.
