Talk to Gomo

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK Cash In on Ripened Flint How to Unlock

Talk to Gomo, the Goron with a moustache sitting near the Bedrock Bistro. This will trigger the quest to start.

Cash In on Ripened Flint Location and Rewards

Eldin Canyon - Bedrock Bistro

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK

This quest is found in Eldin Canyon in the Eldin Region. You can find Eldin Canyon north of Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower.

The exact coordinates for this quest on the map are 1751, 1537, 0278.

Cash In on Ripened Flint Walkthrough Guide

How to Complete Cash In on Ripened Flint
1. Save Before Anything Else!
2. Talk to Gomo
3. Give Him 50 Flint
4. Reload Until You Succeed
5. Success!

Save Before Anything Else!

TotK - Save Before Anything Else

Save your game before talking to Gomo. This is a vital step to not lose as much items as possible when doing this quest.

Talk to Gomo

TotK - Talk to Gomo

Gomo is seeking for a ripened flint, and is asking your help to give him a batch of flint so he can find one.

Give Him 50 Flint

TotK - Provide 50 Flint

Naturally, you can give him 20, 50, or 100 depending on your choice. It is recommended to give 50 flint as this is the safest option.

Giving him 20 flint has a very low chance of finding a ripened flint, while giving him 100 has a higher chance (not 100% guaranteed!) but you lose a lot of flint when Gomo does find a ripened one. Giving him 50 is the best option.

Reload Until You Succeed

TotK - It

When Gomo doesn't find any ripened flint, reload your save file from when first started talking to him.

This will allow you to get back the batch of flint you gave to Gomo, and this will reroll the chances of him finding a ripened flint.

Success!

TotK - Cash In on Ripened Flint Reward

Once Gomo does find a ripened flint, he will give you 1000 Rupees in exhcange. This ends the quest, but you can keep on giving him batches in exchange for 1000 rupees to your heart's content.
