Master the Vehicle Prototype Side Quest is unlocked after listening to Fernison and two professional racers in Hudson Construction Site. You can find them inside an open building.

How to Complete Master the Vehicle Prototype
1. Add a Steering Stick to the Vehicle
2. Drive the Vehicle Through the Lights
3. Return to Fernison

Add a Steering Stick to the Vehicle

TOTK - Master the Vehicle Prototype Add Steering Stick

Add a Steering Stick to the pre-built 4x4 vehicle on the platform using Ultrahand.

Look for the Nearby Zonai Dispenser

TOTK - Master the Vehicle Prototype Device Dispenser

You can easily find one by using the nearby Zonai Dispenser, south of Fernison's location, if you don't have one yet.

Drive the Vehicle Through the Lights

TOTK - Master the Vehicle Prototype Test Drive

Fernison will talk to you after you've placed a Steering Stick on the vehicle. He will then ask you to test drive it.

Follow all the light that will appear on the field without letting go of the Steering Stick.

Return to Fernison

TOTK - Master the Vehicle Prototype Unlock

After test-driving the vehicle, Fernison will give you a Silver Rupee (100 Rupees) and a Sleepover Ticket for your help!
