After completing your 152nd Shrine of Light, Rauru's voice will tell you to revisit the Temple of Time for your rewards, which also unlocks The Shrine Explorer side quest.

There is no set location for The Shrine Explorer. Instead, the quest will automatically unlock once you finish your 152nd Shrine.

How to Complete The Shrine Explorer
1. Return to the Temple of Time
2. Reverse the Gears
3. Open the Chest

Return to the Temple of Time

TotK - gliding to Temple of Time

Fast travel to the Great Sky Island and head north to the Temple of Time.

Reverse the Gears

TotK - reversing the gears

Like before, use Recall to reverse the movement of the gears and use them to reach the Goddess Statue at the back.

Open the Chest

TotK - Ancient Hero

Open the chest behind the statue to receive the Ancient Hero's Aspect and complete the quest. This item is a full armor set that greatly increases the distance of the Master Sword's beam attack after being upgraded at least twice.
