5. Finding the Forest Dweller's Shield

Talk to Walton

Head on top of the Deku Tree by climbing or by using Ascend. It seems that you will be able to find Walton there easily as he is the only Korok in that area.

Walton will ask you to find a Forest Dweller's Sword and a Forest Dweller's Spear that he has hidden in the area.

Setting Up the Sensor + (Optional)

Go to your Hyrule Compendium and set the sensor to the weapons you are searching for. This will help you locate them easy peasy.

Remember to set the sensor to their decayed counterpart as pristine weapons are only found in the Depths!

How to Get the Sensor +

Finding the Forest Dweller's Sword

The sword can be found directly on top of Walton, at the highest part of the Deku Tree's head (not the branches!) with coordinates (0415, 2174, 0242).

Finding the Forest Dweller's Spear

The spear is just chilling on southeast of Walton when you are facing him with coordinates (0405, 2195, 0229).

Show Walton the Found Items

Return to Walton to show him that you have found his hiding places with ease. But wait! There's more!

Time for the second round! Walton will then ask you to find a Forest Dweller's Shield.

Finding the Forest Dweller's Shield

You can find the shield on top of the entrance when heading inside the Deku Tree with coordinates (0419, 2155, 0156).

Return to Walton

Go back and talk to Walton and let him know that you've found the shield.

He will let you keep all the items you've found and will add in a Forest Dweller's Bow as a reward for finishing the treasure hunt!
