To begin the A Way to Trade, Washed Away side quest, you'll first have to clear the village of monsters and repair the damages during the Ruffian-Infested Village and Lurelin Village Restoration Project side adventures. Speak to Garini at a pier in Lurelin Village after completing the prerequisites to begin the quest.

Lurelin Village is situated directly south of Mount Dunsel. The village is along the shore of the southeastern area of East Necluda region.

Begin the quest by speaking to Garini who will tell you that he wants to reopen his shop and start trading but unfortunately, his boat is gone and can't find a replacement for it.

He suspects that his old boat may have washed up on Tenoko Island in Necluda Sea to the east.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Head Over to Tenoko Island

Make your way to Tenoko Island either by building your own Hover Bike or creating your own raft.

Rebuild the Boat

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Rebuild the Boat

Once you arrive at the island you'll see a boat washed up on shore along with a few zonai devices such as a Fan and Battery. Attach the devices to the boat and take it back to Lurelin Village.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TOTK - Head Back to Lurelin Village

Upon approaching the docks, there will be a cutscene where Garini will thank you for bringing him back the boat. You'll receive a Star Fragment as a reward.

I keep talking to Garini and he refuses to come. I’ve done every other possible Lurelin Quest as well as a regional phenomenon(rito). Is there any other requirement needed?
