Finish Yunobo of Goron City and Talk to Tray

Tears of the Kingdom TOTK Moon-Gazing Gorons How to Unlock

Moon-Gazing Gorons Side Quest is unlocked after finishing the Yunobo of Goron City Main Quest. Talk to Volcon and Tray in Goron City, standing near the entrance of the Inn.

Goron City is found in the Eldin Canyon Region. You can reach it easily if you follow the road north of Woodland Stable.

How to Complete Moon-Gazing Gorons
1. Go to Lake Ferona
2. Enter Lake Ferona Cave
3. Take a Picture of the Light
4. Show the Picture to Tray and Volcon

Go to Lake Ferona

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Moon-Gazing Gorons - Lake Ferona

Go to mentioned place in Lake Ferona. You can get there by traveling south of Goron City, near the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower.

Enter Lake Ferona Cave

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Moon-Gazing Gorons - Cave Entrance

You can get to the cave by going to the west part of the lake. Stand by the rock on the lake to see the entrance.

Take a Picture of the Light

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Moon-Gazing Gorons - Take Picture

Take a picture of the light in circular form inside the cave. The time has to be noon for the light to appear, so set up a campfire using a wood and a flint and sit there until noon!

Show the Picture to Tray and Volcon

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Moon-Gazing Gorons - Reward

Once you got a nice picture, go back to Tray and Volcon in Goron CIty and show them the picture. They will then give you a Silver Rupee (100 Rupees) in exchange for helping them remember the place!
