Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TotK - Follow the Cuccos Walkthrough

After completing Codger's Quarrel, talk to Trissa again in Kakariko Village's General Store to start another quest.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TotK - cuccos outside the General Store

The tracking part of this quest is entirely optional as you can give Trissa 10 Bird Eggs right after accepting the quest to complete it.

However, we do not recommend doing so, unless you're speedrunning. You will miss out on the Cuccos' Secret Hideout if you don't make use of Trissa's info (also they're cute).

Tracking the Cuccos

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TotK - Cucco Hideaway location

Find Cuccos inside Kakariko Village and wait until morning. There are conveniently positioned Cuccos and a cooking pot where you can skip time just outside the General Store.

Once 6 o'clock strikes, follow the Cuccos and don't lose sight of them. They move faster than you might think. These will lead you to an underground cave on a hill south of the village (1878, -1156, 0200).

Gather 10 Bird Eggs for Trissa

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom TotK - Bird Eggs in the Cucco Hideaway

Enter the Cucco Hideaway and grab at least 10 Bird Eggs, then deliver them to Trissa to complete the quest. Bird Eggs will also now be regularly restocked at the General Store!
