Talk to Reede and confirm that you're ready to defend the field against monsters.
The first wave will consist of three Stalkoblins. Hit the Stal-monsters in their heads to prevent them from getting back up.
A Stalmoblin will spawn around 3 a.m. in-game time. Deal with it by attacking its body to make its head fall down. Follow up with a melee strike to the head to kill it.
There would be two Stalkoblins archers and two Stalmoblins appearing. You can easily deal with them using explosive attacks like throwing Bomb Flowers, or just wait until 5 a.m. in-game time for them to disappear.
Finish the quest and get your reward. You've successfully defended the field of Sun Pumpkins! Claim your reward to finish the side quest.
