How to Unlock The Horse Guard's Request
Speak with Toffa at Outskirt Stable
Talk to Toffa near the horses at the Outskirt Stable in Hyrule Ridge to start the side quest.

| 1. Go to Sanidin Park Ruins at Night 2. Catch a Stalhorse 3. Bring the Stalhorse to Toffa 4. Catch a Deer North of Outskirt Stable 5. Bring the Deer to Toffa |
Go to Sanidin Park Ruins at Night
Follow the road north of the Outskirt Stable and to reach Sanidin Park Ruins. You can sit next to the cooking pot outside the stable to wait until it is nighttime. If it is raining, you can sleep at the inn at the cost of 20 Rupees.
The coordinates for this location are: -1688, -0680, 0124.
Catch a Stalhorse
Head down to the grassy area of the park ruins and sneak up behind the Stalhorse to catch it.
Bring the Stalhorse to Toffa
Go back to Toffa at Outskirt Stable to receive a Purple Rupee, one Pony Point, and the next step of the side quest.
Note: Make sure to return to Toffa before the sun rises as the Stalhorse will die during the day.
Catch a Deer North of Outskirt Stable
You can find a deer in the small forest areas on the hill north of the Outskirt Stable. These are marked with a red circle in the image above.
Use a Sneaky Elixir or Wear the Stealth Set When Catching a Deer
Save the game once you see a deer in the forest so you can reload in case it runs away and despawns. Then, drink a Sneaky Elixir or wear the Stealth Set when approaching the deer.
If the deer turns around as you approach it from behind, quickly press the A Button when it charges towards you to mount it. Press the L Button repeatedly to soothe it so you can ride it back to the Outskirt Stable.
Make sure to avoid getting off the dear before bringing it back to the stable as it will immediately run away as soon as you dismount.
Bring the Deer to Toffa
Go back to Toffa at Outskirt Stable again to show the deer. He will give you a Silver Rupee and one Pony Point, completing the side quest.
