Investigate the Thyphlo Ruins Side Adventure is unlocked after talking to Kazul in Thyphlo Ruins near the Skyview Tower. However, you need to do at least one of the Temples for it to become available.

How to Complete Investigate the Thyphlo Ruins |

The monoliths will appear after talking to Kazul. The number of monoliths that'll appear depends on the number of temples you've cleared.
Read the monolith on the leftmost side to get this quest. Complete it by showing off Tulin's Power of Wind in front of a statue.
The Owl Protected by Dragons Walkthrough and How to Unlock
Examine the second monolith from the left to start this quest. You can finish it by finding the two dragon statues and using Yunobo's Power in between them.
The Corridor Between Two Dragons Walkthrough and How to Unlock
Read the third monolith from the left to get this quest. You will need to show Sidon's Ability with a charged attack in front of the six dragon statues to finish this quest.
The Six Dragons Walkthrough and How to Unlock
Read the last monolith on the right to start this quest. You need to find the long dragon and shoot its tail using Riju's Ability to finish the quest.
The Long Dragon Walkthrough and How to Unlock
A structure will spawn and lead you to the final monolith, containing some information about the Imprisoning War. Examine the monolith and receive your rewards from Kazul!
You can also get a Dusk Claymore if you loot the chest on the right!
