Speak With Verla Outside of Talonto Peak Cave

Approach Verla in the Hebra Mountains to begin the Crossing the Cold Pool quest.

Crossing the Cold Pool Walkthrough Guide

Talk to Verla

Speak to Verla, who will tell you that he needs 10 Chillshrooms.

Go to the Cave

Proceed inside the Talonto Peak Cave and collect the chillshrooms currently available to you.

Build a Bridge

In order to cross the chilly water inside the cave, you will need to build a makeshift bridge.

Collect Wooden Planks

Go outside and collect the large wooden planks located around Verla. You will need three to reach the other end of the cave.

Use the Wooden Planks

Using Ultrahand, stick the wooden planks together to make a wooden bridge that can float on top of the water.

Place the Bridge

Bring your makeshift bridge inside the cave and place it on top of the water's surface.

Grab the Floating Wooden Panel

When you reach the end of your bridge, grab the floating wooden panel floating in front of you and sitck it at the boundary of your bridge.

Collect Chillshrooms

Collect the remaining Chillshrooms at the other end of the cave.

Return to Verla

Come back to Verla and give him the 10x chillshrooms when prompted during the conversation. He will reward you with 50 Purple Rupees for your troubles.
