The Electric Lizalfos will mostly be utilizing lightning-based attacks so wearing lightning proof armor such as the Rubber Armor and Lightning Helm is highly advisable when fighting against them in order to resist their electric abilities.
List of All Armor and Locations
Unlike other Lizalfos, the Electric variants tend to use melee attacks and will often chase Link around to electrify him. Switch to your bow and keep your distance while attacking them in order to avoid taking damage.
Getting shocked by an Electric Lizalfos while wielding a metal weapon and shield will immediately disarm you.
Be sure to use wooden weapons like the Feathered Spear or Dragonbone Boko Shield as you won't get disarmed even if you get electrocuted.
Try to freeze them to prevent them from charging at you or shooting at you with their electric attacks. You can use a Sapphire Rod or Magic Scepter against them especially when going up a huge crowd of Electric Lizalfos to avoid getting swarmed.
Shooting their heads will knock them down and deal critical damage. It would be easier to hit their weak spot by using a bow with a Five-Shot Burst modifier.
Electric Lizalfos will release an electric blast around it when you hit their head. Enemies caught inside blast radius will get shocked and will drop their weapons.
Be sure to shoot their weak spot at a safe distance so you won't get caught in its shock blast.
Electric Lizalfos These quick-witted, lizard-like monsters can be found all over Hyrule. They can emit strong electrical currents from their bodies, so don't get too close. Their horns are brimming with electricity, which will discharge and arc to nearby areas if struck by an arrow. They live in desert climates. |
