It is possible to find the Stalmoblin when exploring Great Hyrule Forest and Deep Akkala Depths.

If you have a picture of the Stalmoblin, you can set it as a target for your Sensor+, through the Compendium, to detect when one is nearby.

Defeat Instantly with Dazzlefruit

You can defeat Stalmoblins and other common Stal enemies instantly by using the Dazzlefruit against them. Fuse one to your arrow or throw one near a Stalmoblin to defeat it right away.

Aim for the Head with a Bow

Stalmoblins can also be defeated right away if you shoot their heads with a bow and arrow. This way, they won't be able to regenerate when their bones disassemble.

The remains of Moblins appear in the dark. Even the toughest Moblins become fragile when they're little more than a pile of bones, so they'll crumble after just a few attacks. However, as long as a skull remains intact, they'll continue to pull themselves back together and go on fighting. They have hard, heavy horns, and they hate strong light.
