How to Unlock Mattison's Independence
Talk to Hudson in Tarrey Town
Mattison's Independence is unlocked after talking to Hudson and Rhondson in Tarrey Town. You can find them in their house, behind the Goddess Statue.

Talk to Hudson
After starting the quest, talk to Hudson alone outside of their house. He wants you to spend time with her so they can focus on their suprise.
Go to Mattison Location
You can find Mattison on the second floor of the house. Talk to her to learn more about her.
Join the Quiz
Follow Mattison outside to her granny, Monari. Once there, Mattison will ask a question related to Gerudo language that you must answer.
Question: What is the Gerudo word for "granny"
Answer: Vaba!
Go to the Railcar
After the quiz, follow Mattison who wants to go to the construction site to see her mom and dad. You can find her looking troubled near the railcar.
Throw a Puffshroom on Magie
You can obscure Magie's vision by throwing a Puffshroom near him. Talk to Mattison after that and let her go to the railcar.
Use the Wooden Board in front of Magie
Alternatively, you can also block his vision with the wooden board across the station. Simply use your Ultrahand and place it directly in front of him.
Give 10 Sundelions to Hudson
Go to Mattison and her family in the construction site and talk to them. Hudson is in need of ten Sundelions to dye the hot air balloon with yellow. Give it to him once you've collected enough.
Send Mattison Off
A cutscene will play once you've handed over ten Sundelions. See Mattison off and receive a total of 200 Rupees as a reward for helping them.
