Locate the Message in Bottle Create a Makeshift Raft Use the Raft to Get Closer to the Bottle Grab the Bottle Return to Koyin Follow Koyin to Her House

Locate the Message in Bottle

Inspect the middle of the lake to find the floating message bottle.

Create a Makeshift Raft

Getting the message bottle can be tricky as it is located quite far into the lake. Use the resources around you to find a way to reach the message bottle, like creating a raft.

Use the Raft to Get Closer to the Bottle

Use Ultrahand to lift the raft and position it as close to the message bottle as possible.

Grab the Bottle

Climb onto the raft you positioned and grab the message bottle out of the lake.

Return to Koyin

Go to back to Koyin with the message bottle. After gaining clarity through the message left by her grandfather, she will invite you to visit her house.

Follow Koyin to Her House

Speak with Koyin inside her house to receive your reward and complete the side adventure. You will then be able to unlock a trading relationship with Koyin.

Trade Fresh Milk for Hateno Cheese

Upon completing the side adventure, Koyin will be able to completely open up her Hateno Cheese Shop. She will open a trading relationship with you swapping fresh milk for Hateno Cheese.
