How to Complete Spotting Spot |
---|
1. Talk to Lester 2. Look for Spot 3. Tame Spot 4. Return Spot to Lester |
Lester will ask you to find Spot, his beloved horse, who he mentions didn't run away too far from Lookout Landing.
You can fidn Spot just outside Lookout Landing roaming around with a group of other horses at (-0337, -0052, 0023).
He is easy to distinguish from other horses in the group as he is the only horse that has gray spots.
Approach Spot from behind to avoid spooking him and then tame him. Use a Sneaky Elixir or wear the Stealth Set to prevent him from running away.
Once tamed, Ride spot back to Lester and speak with him. He will give then give Spot to Link and you are free to rename him or keep his name.
Lester will also give you a Purple Rupee and a Swift Carrot as a reward for spotting Spot.
Spot has decent stats and is a great starting horse, though he is easily outclassed by horses you can find in rarer herds later on.
If you want to make Spot your main horse for the rest of the game, you may also upgrade his stats by talking to Malanya in the Horse God Fountain in Northern Akkala.
