Misko's Treasure of Awakening Walkthrough and How to Unlock

Misko's Treasure of Awakening is a questline consisting of three Side Quests in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) that can be first found in Goronbi River Cave. Read on to learn how to unlock Misko's Treasure of Awakening, its location and rewards, walkthrough, as well as how to complete it.

How to Unlock Misko's Treasure of Awakening

Find the Ember Shirt and Misko's Message

Misko's Treasure of Awakening I can be unlocked by examining Misko's message within Goronbi River Cave, which is located southwest of Goron City. Bring at least one piece of the Flamebreaker Set to avoid taking damage due to the burning heat.

Go to Goronbi River Cave Cross the Magma Streams Get Deeper into the Cave Take the Ember Shirt Examine the Stone

Go to Goronbi River Cave

Upon entering the cave, you will find a lava river where stone platforms are coasting. Hop on to one and use Recall to reverse its movement.

Jump over to your right before you reach the lava cascade and go up the next stream.

Cross the Magma Streams

Use Recall on one of the platforms and use it to cross over where the Fire Like is.

Get Deeper into the Cave

Grab one of the platforms moving along the stream and use it to get deeper into the cave.

Take the Ember Shirt

On your right you will see a room with a chest at the center. Open the chest to obtain the Ember Shirt and reveal a secret room to your left.

Examine the Stone

Examine the stone and read Misko's message to unlock the quest.

Find the Tunic of Awakening Find the Camouflaged Button Get the Tunic of Awakening

Find the Tunic of Awakening

The riddle points south of the Tabantha Frontier region, at the Ancient Columns. This area is located east of Rayne Highlands and south of Piper Ridge.

Find the Camouflaged Button

If you head to the Ancient Columns through the west approach (from Rayne Highlands), you will be greeted by a Flame Gleeok.

You can skip this fight by scaling the east cliff or jumping off a Recalled sky debris near the edge.

Once you're near the ruins, find the pillar with a camouflaged button on its tip. Step on the button to open the entrance to a cave.

Get the Tunic of Awakening

Jump down the cave and find the treasure at the end to obtain the Tunic of Awakening and complete the quest.

Find the Trousers of Awakening

Read the sign beside the chest where you obtained the Tunic of Awakening. This will trigger Misko's Treasure of Awakening II and give you a riddle to where the Trousers of Awakening is located.

Fight the Thunder Gleeok

The riddle points to the Coliseum Ruins in Hyrule Field, where an Thunder Gleeok will be waiting. You cannot avoid this fight as the cave entrance is right behind it, so defeat the Gleeok first.

Find the Statue

Head to the southern most end of the first floor of the Coliseum where a statue and a Soldier's Claymore are leaning against the wall.

Attach the Claymore to the Statue

Use Ultrahand on the Soldier's Claymore and place it by the statue's hands to open the Coliseum Ruins Cave entrance on the floor just beside the statue.

Recieve the Trousers of Awakening

Jump down into the cave and find the treasure at the end to obtain the Trousers of Awakening and complete the quest.

Read the sign beside the chest where you obtained the Trousers of Awakening to trigger Misko's Treasure of Awakening III and get a riddle to where the Mask of Awakening is located.

Read the sign beside the chest where you obtained the Trousers of Awakening to trigger Misko's Treasure of Awakening III and get a riddle to where the Mask of Awakening is located.

Opening the Cave Entrance

Wait until noon when the shadows point north, and stand on the southern pillar. Use the long object to cast a shadow over the cave's entrance on the ground. This will open the entrance to Thundra Plateau Cave.

Get the Mask of Awakening

Jump down into the cave and find the treasure at the end to obtain the Mask of Awakening and complete the quest.
