Use an axe to chop down trees and use them as logs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK). Read on to learn other ways to chop down trees, what logs are used for, and more!
List of Contents
You can use a Stone Axe to repeatedly hit a tree to chop it down. The fallen tree becomes a log that you can use for Ultrahand contraptions.
If you cannot find a Stone Axe nearby, you can fuse any one-handed weapon or a two-handed weapon with a stone to obtain a Stone Axe.
Use Ultrahand to combine multiple logs to create contraptions that allow you to reach areas. For example, you can combine three logs and a Zonai Fan to create a Zonai device-powered raft to cross rivers.
