To get the Trousers of Awakening, go to the Coliseum Ruins in the coordinates -1129, -1188, 0046, near Outskirt Stable on the southwest edge of Hyrule Field.
Go inside the Coliseum and you will face a Thunder Gleeok. After defeating the enemy, go north of the coliseum and you will see a knight statue and a sword.
Head to the southern most end of the first floor of the Coliseum where a statue and a Soldier's Claymore are leaning against the wall at -1171, -1308, 0046.
Use Ultrahand on the Soldier's Claymore and place it by the statue's hands to open the Coliseum Ruins Cave entrance on the floor just beside the statue.
Jump down into the cave and find the treasure chest at the end to obtain the Trousers of Awakening and complete the quest.
The Trousers of Awakening armor piece is part of the Misko's Treasure of Awakening side quest that you can unlock by examining Misko's message inside Goronbi River Cave, located southwest of Goron City.
You do not need to start the quest to get the trousers, but it gives you the clue as to where it is located.

The Trousers of Awakening can also be obtained by scanning the Link (Link's Awakening) amiibo! This lets you get this piece of armor right away instead of having to find it in the game itself.
Scan an amiibo by making sure amiibo scanning is enabled in the Options Menu. Then, press and hold the L button, select the amiibo icon in the Tool Wheel, and tap your amiibo on the NFC Touchpoint of your controller.

You can buy the Trousers of Awakening for 400 Poes from a Bargainer Statue in the Depths after getting the armor first, either in-game or by scanning the Link (Link's Awakening) amiibo.
