One of the recommended ways to beat a Silver Lynel is to sneakily mount it from behind and unleash as much damage as you can. It is recommended to have the Stealth Set when employing this tactic.
The Silver Lynel is the most powerful variant of Lynels roaming around in Tears of the Kingdom, but even this natural disaster of a monstrosity is not impervious to dodges and parries.
If given the chance, dodge its charges and attacks with the intention of using Flurry Rush. This will reduce its health by a lot.
If you want to engage it in long range combat, try to aim for the Silver Lynel's head and shoot an arrow towards it. The Silver Lynel will be staggered for a bit, which gives you an opportunity to counterattack.
Use an Aerocuda Eyeball to increase the accuracy of your arrow shots. Additionally, you could also use a Rocket Shield to launch yourself midair and shoot arrows in bullet time to give you more time for aiming your shots.
If you're struggling against Lynels, summoning all Sages can help shift the tide of the battle! The sages deal chip damage, but the main thing here is getting the Lynel's attention away from you. This gives you enough time to heal up and ride the Lynel from behind to hit it and deal massive amounts of damage.
Silver Lynel Silver Lynels are not to be trifled with. The Demon King's fiendish magic has made them the strongest of the Lynel species, beyond even the deadly white-maned variety. Their powerful horns can slice through almost anything. Think of their purple stripes as a warning to keep away. |
