Black Lizalfos land harder hits and are tougher to beat. They especially move fast and dodge your slow attacks.
Spears prove to be super effective against Black Lizalfos for their swift jabs and farther attack range, disabling them and not giving them a chance to dodge nor hit you.
Black Lizalfos can be troublesome when fought in groups of other enemies as they move fast, deal higher damage, and don't die as easily.
Use Ice Fruit or other ice weapons to freeze Black Lizalfos in place and deal with them one by one instead of them ganging up on you all at once.
When fought in groups mixed with stronger enemies, use a Puffshroom to blind the Black Lizalfos and take them out while it's still smokey. Attacking while crouching in the Puffshroom cloud also guarantees a sneakstrike when standing behind enemies.
Shooting their heads will knock them down and deal critical damage. It would be easier to hit their weak spot by using a bow with a Five-Shot Burst modifier.
Black Lizalfos A quick-witted, lizard-like species of monster found all over Hyrule. Their sharpened horn cuts like a knife, so be cautious even if they're not carrying a weapon. They are among the most dangerous Lizalfos, with high stamina. |
