Yiga Blademasters are stronger and deadlier than the Yiga Footsoldiers. Although they are bulky in size, Yiga Blademasters are as quick and evasive as their lesser counterparts.
Like all enemies, they have attack patterns that you can learn from and retaliate against.
You should try to avoid their long range attacks that send shockwaves and rock pillars towards you by using the upward wind to glide in midair.
This ability the Yiga Blademasters employ is called Earthwake.
How to Get Earthwake Technique
You could stagger Yiga Blademasters by shooting an arrow towards their heads, giving you enough time to dish out as much damage as you possibly can.
You could even choose to be more colorful in your combat, and employ arrows fused with Flower Bombs, Aerocuda Eyeballs, Shock Fruits or anything destructive in your inventory.
Yiga Blademaster These are the elite soldiers of the Yiga Clan. Equipped with blades of wind-cleaving power, they are extremely agile despite their bulky build. At this Yiga Clan rank, they have mastered a technique that allows them to manipulate the very earth. By striking the ground, they can raise stone pillars and unleash a blast of air. |
