It is possible to find the Yiga Footsoldier when exploring Yiga Hideouts and East Necluda and Akkala Highlands.
If you have a picture of the Yiga Footsoldier, you can set it as a target for your Sensor+, through the Compendium, to detect when one is nearby.

Yiga Footsoldiers are quick and agile. They usually employ teleportation techniques to mislead you of their locations. Like all enemies, they have attack patterns that you can learn from and retaliate against.
You could stagger Yiga Footsoldiers by shooting an arrow towards their heads, giving you enough time to dish out as much damage as you possibly can.
You could even choose to be more colorful in your combat, and employ arrows fused with Flower Bombs, Aerocuda Eyeballs, Shock Fruits or anything destructive in your inventory.
![]() The lowest-ranked members of the Yiga Clan. They've been dispatched all across Hyrule with a single task: seek out and kill Princess Zelda and Link. They're a crafty bunch, sometimes disguising themselves as simple travelers or villagers to get the jump on you. Be wary of suspicious people you encounter. They're very agile, and their weapons of choice are bows and swords. |
