Yosenju Breakdown

Yosenju Deck Guide: How to Play

The Yosenju archetype embodies the hit-and-run playstyle, being able to chain multiple Normal Summons to activate their disruptive effects, and then bouncing back to the hand at the end of the turn to avoid being destroyed by battle.

Key monsters to include are Yosenju Kama 1, 2 & 3 alongside Yosenju Tsujik and Yosenju Izna. The three Kama monsters have the unique effect of chaning Normal Summons, which can lead to a swarming of the field, on top of triggering effects when Normal Summoned.

Further protection for the Yosenjus are disruptions, which include Phantom Knights' Fog Blade, Torrential Tribute, Fiendish Chains and Ring of Destruction. Yosenjus' Sword Sting gets special mention for being an archetype-exclusive Trap Card.

Coincidentally, all of them are Level 4 monsters, providing access to a plethora of Rank 4 Xyz Monsters. There are offensive powerhouses like Number 52: Diamond Crab King, Number 70: Malevolent Sin, Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk, and Gagaga Soldier. Control over the field can also be provided, with cards like Number 50: Blackship of Corn, Number 85: Crazy Box, and Number 104: Masquerade.

They forgot to include ring of destruction in the text list and were still off by 1, it's impressive.
