Weezing | Wigglytuff ex |
・Weezing acts as a wall early on to give time for Wigglytuff ex to set up on the bench. |
Best Starting Hand |
---|
Having both Weezing and Wigglytuff ex's evolution lines right away makes setting up easier and faster. Getting Koga ensures that you can scoop Weezing out of the Active Spot into your hand when Wigglytuff ex is ready.
Recommended Starting Hand |
---|
As long as you have both Basic Pokemon in your starting hand, you can still set up quickly. Professor's Reasearch can speed things up in getting Wigglytuff ex.

Use Weezing as a wall while setting up Wigglytuff ex on the bench. This is also to inflict poison on your opponent's Pokemon.
Once Wigglytuff ex is ready on your bench, use Koga to scoop Weezing out of the Active Spot and into your hand, then put Wigglytuff ex in the Active Spot and play the Pokemon.

2 | Use Koga to scoop Weezing out of the Active Spot into your hand, then place Wigglytuff ex in the active spot. Weezing can still inflict poison on your opponent's active Pokemon even while it's benched thanks to its Gas Leak Ability. |
Key Card(s) Required | |
---|---|
1 | Use Sabrina to disrupt your opponent's setup when needed, or use Giovanni to boost Wigglytuff ex's damage when attacking. |
Deck | Commentary |
---|---|
None | Type: None ・The Wigglytuff ex deck isn't particularly good against specific decks due to its low damage and high dependency on coin flips. |
Deck | Commentary |
---|---|
Pikachu ex Decks |
・Pikachu ex can OHKO Koffing or Jigglytuff early on before they can evolve. |
Starmie ex Decks |
・Starmie ex can also OHKO Koffing or Jigglytuff early on before they can evolve. |
Due to the deck's low damage and high dependency on coin flips, the deck is inconsistent.
Wigglytuff ex can also be built with other Energy types because it is a Colorless attacker, making it a good partner for other Colorless Pokemon. Consider building a Colorless deck Wigglytuff, Ditto, Kangaskhan, or possibly Eeveelutions who can take advantage of varied Energies from the Energy Zone.
Eeveelutions and Ditto Deck Strategy Guide and Card List
Card | Explanation |
---|---|
Wigglytuff |
・ Non-ex Wigglytuff gives the deck a non-ex option but deals even less damage and doesn't put the opponent's active card to sleep. |
Kangaskhan |
・A solid early-game tank which can deal and take on damage while Jigglypuff sets up on the bench. |
Ditto |
・A fun gimmick Pokemon which can use the defending Pokemon's attacks. ・Great in Colorless decks whiich can be outfitted to run different Energy types. |
Card | Possible Cuts |
---|---|
Farfetch'd |
・ Farfetch'd can deal consistent 40 damage while Jigglypuff sets up on the Bench. |
Old Amber |
・ A Fossil can buy you a turn if Wigglytuff ex isn't ready yet and you have no Koga in-hand to scoop up Weezing. |
